Graphic Designer – Torn Between His Fears And Creativity!

This article will address fear as a common feeling. Fear is an instinctive human emotion that can be experienced regardless of one’s age, appearance, nervous system, muscle strength, or boldness. Fear is one of the most basic emotions or senses that man can feel psychologically. It can also accompany anger, sadness, grief, pleasure, or grieve. Fear is generally associated with emotions that are triggered by real, tangible or intangible dangers. It is the opposite of fear, however, and it can be triggered by a surprise, threat or danger.

Fear can appear in men when they are exposed to a humiliating or embarrassing situation or when they see others suffering from the same fear. A man may feel out of control if he is exposed to fear for a long time or repeatedly. This can be especially true if he resists fatigue, emotional setbacks and agitation. This is not true. How can a graphic designer overcome this fear? How can she manage this fear? How can he use his fears creatively?

Graphic designers are all familiar with this phenomenon, regardless of their professional status. However, it is most evident among students studying graphic design. It takes on a unique form when it is brought to work with all its difficulties. Two main causes are the insufficient knowledge of the student and the growing gap between what he knows and what the market requires. Another case is inconsistency between student and co-workers. The other case is the inconsistency between student and co-workers, i.e. lack of a common language for communication. Unskilled graphic designers can also lead to awkward situations for the designer and frustration.

A graphic designer, like all creative men, must live in a unique state to be creative. This will allow him to reach the climax of his creativity and produce a work that realizes the long-held goals. To achieve such a state, a graphic designer must create a design that is simple and direct but still communicates the message to the receiver.

But where is this case?

What is the evolution of the concept?

How does a graphic designer achieve creativity and innovation? Both states depend on the ability of the graphic designer to overcome confusion and uncertainty. This usually begins with the first steps of concept evolution. This state could then develop into fear and eventually become a nightmare. This is why it is so important that the designer overcomes his fears and doesn’t allow fear to control him.

This barrier can be overcome by the designer having three things in common:

1- Self-awareness

2- Self-acceptance and

3. Self-respect

These perquisites and conditions can be helpful to the designer in order to keep his ideas and tools for executing them. These conditions will allow the designer to use and exploit his own potentialities and to be open to new creative and artistic ideas. These conditions would allow him to discover the truth and be responsible for his actions, thoughts, and behaviors. These are the key elements that would encourage the designer to work alone or in a group, and have a positive impact on his creativity.

Creativity, or creative thinking, and problem-solving skills are largely dependent on the designer’s ability organize and classify information and to extract the most important and useful information. This requires that he is familiar with his environment, the messages he wants to convey, and the tools he will need to carry them out. These would give him an ability to defend his ideas and self-protection. He would be strong enough to overcome his fear and confusion.

Where would fear and creativity ever be possible?

These feelings are shared by both professional and non-professional designers, regardless of their age or whereabouts. This is a common phenomenon in this creative field. Graphic designers are not like other workers. Graphic designers work with professionalism and efficiency to communicate a message to certain audiences and present a service or product in an appealing and distinct way. It is not essential that the graphic designer believes in the work he creates. Instead, he should use his ideas and designs to fulfill the needs of the client.

Fear and worry are the result. A good graphic designer might want to achieve perfection in his art pieces by using a simple, good idea, unique themes, and applying it in a new way with distinctive techniques. These are the conditions for any creative work on invention. They reflect the personality of the creator.

Graphic design is a key component of many aspects of our lives. The designer is constantly confronted by cultural, economic, political and social issues. This would require that the designer is knowledgeable and educated in all aspects of life. This is a crucial requirement in any advertising or media equation. Graphic design is one of the largest industries in today’s world. It is closely linked to information technology, computer sciences, and graphic design. A graphic designer’s ability to speak the Era’s language fluently is another important factor.

We realize that graphic design is a difficult job, regardless of whether the designer was a student or a worker. It requires a lot of reading, skill development, technical competency, and personal ability. The graphic designer must not only be proficient in using the software or design programs. However, he must also be able to learn new techniques and qualifications just like the driver. The most important thing is the ability create an idea and then implement it. This is an integral part creativity, and would ultimately contribute to higher expectations. The most skilled, creative, informed, conscious, and knowledgeable graphic artists are those who can control their fears and worries. A graphic designer who reaches this level would be mature and capable of completing the project even under pressure. He would also have the ability to express creativity at the final.

Fear and concern are common among graphic designers in higher education or those who look into the labor market. The confusion that the employee or student experiences academically is only a result of the academic plan. It can also be attributed to a lack of specificity among graphic designers, a lack of understanding of the identity of the designer to make, multiple producing bodies, a lack of a strategy to gather all these people, identify the producers (or the type) of designer, and the incorrect mix of knowledge of computer and graphic design.

This is what people working in graphic design experience. This problem is exacerbated by clients’ lack of taste and ignorance about the designer’s role, chaos and disorganization on the market, as well as the mixing of academic and non-academic graphic designers.

How can you identify the state of fear among graphic designers?

The hidden personality and behavior of the graphic designer is incorporated into his work. We are searching for a leader and designer who can manage his shadow. Given that the shadow is a powerful and powerful personality, who has a large suitcase, he knows what’s inside, what he takes out, and what he can place inside. He must be able to not waste his first half of life by filling a suitcase with stuff, and then wasting the second half by emptying the same bag. This is the real problem. It’s okay!

We are not ashamed to admit that while the designer may be like anyone else, he has his strengths and weaknesses. The strength factor is another mask that a designer might wear. It is his mental, physical, social, and economic stability. We consider it the key to creativity and success. It is not surprising that fear can increase a state psychological, physical and conceptual depression. This can lead to negative outcomes, particularly if the designer doesn’t have the necessary components to absorb shocks, manage the consequences, correct them, and direct them in the way he thinks is best.

We are not asking the designer to face fear. Instead, we want him to learn some techniques to manage it and end it. The designer can overcome his fears by believing in one’s abilities and encouraging himself. Knowledge is an essential requisite. The mind and soul need to be fed with useful information. This would help to overcome fears and increase self-confidence.

Fears and creativity are two opposing powers

Fear can lead to stagnation. It will stop one from moving forward and prevent any attempts to revive with better production.

A paralyzed existence, devoid of ambition and vigor.

When you see creativity, you will find joy, happiness, satisfaction and balance. You will also find stability, strength, courage, and, above all, challenge.

Let’s take a closer look at these expressions. How did they change and evolve when we tackle fear or creativity? It is like asking two children to draw a picture. The one who is more hesitant might reject the idea. However, the other, who is more chaotic and bashful would pick up the brush and color and draw whatever comes to mind, without caring about what others think. This is what we call challenge. It is a challenge to overcome one’s fears, rejection, and failure, as well as to find a path of innovation and change.

Creativity is a symbol for life changing. It’s a motivator to overcome fear of any new idea, no matter how it was created. It’s a motivator to increase the ability and willingness to innovate and transform public and private life. If leaders, businessmen, and graphic designers weren’t open to innovation and taking firm steps toward adventure and success, they would not be great and successful.

What can you do to overcome your fears? You can defeat your fears by looking at things as they really are, accepting them, believing them, and trying to see them from a different perspective. This is especially true when you start building a concept, implementing it, and adapting with your surroundings. Because deep down you know that uncommon, untraditional things will make you a creative designer. Creativity is the ability to do anything without fear.

Creativity refers to a belief that any form of change or difference is more positive than a negative. Because there’s a state of change.. Because you have the ability to see extraordinary things and find an unorthodox answer to every question. You also have the ability to create an idea and execute it, and then tackle it in an entirely new and unique way.

We say fear and creativity are opposites. One is self-destructive and disappears; the other is persistent and grows, which gives rise to a host of questions that help the researcher reach better conclusions. He has a traditional mindset that thinks in the present and future from a different perspective. This thinking is armed with the ability to innovate, admiration, and an interest in all things unique and different.

Graphic Design students are the most fearful segment!

Only thing we need to fear is ourselves!

Fearful designers claim that their greatest barriers to creativity are time, worry, fatigue, evaluation, scores, and fatigue. Lack of time, too much homework, deadlines, and anxiety can lead to fatigue, worry, and agitation. Fear of failure, anxiety about teacher opinions, and concern over evaluation results all increase students’ fear.

Let’s say this:

Time + fatigue + stress + evaluation = FEAR

How do you solve this problem?

What can we do about it?

What are the responsibilities of the teacher and student?

Is this an issue between them?

Is this really what is causing the fear?

My opinion is that both fear and creativity should be considered. Fear can’t protect but it must be reduced so that I don’t become overwhelmed. The student should not feel stressed out by a lack of enough tine. He should be aware that ideas can trigger in a matter of seconds. The remaining time should be used to execute these ideas and deliver them the client. The student has more than a ten thousand opportunities to develop an idea before the deadline. This is true regardless of the type of homework or work required. A student must have great control over his/her work, as postponement is his enemy. It is important that he completes his assignment within the deadline given. This will allow him to resolve and explain any problems that may arise. This strategy will allow him to organize his mental and physical efforts in a way that doesn’t cause fatigue. He/she will be able to overcome all unexpected difficulties and surprises by organizing his time well and considering each minute as an opportunity for completion.

First, the teacher must help the student overcome the fear barrier. This involves discussing the problem, identifying the solutions, and creating a mature, common dialog.

These conditions are common among teachers. Some cannot diagnose them and others do not know how to treat them. Others don’t know if they exist at all and cannot treat them once they have emerged.

It is easy to find the solution: increase your self-confidence, learn from others and be informative.

The fear that a student might experience makes it imperative for the teacher to address it and handle it effectively. It is the teacher’s ability to manage this situation that determines the success of the class. This cannot be achieved if the teacher does not have the technical knowledge about graphic design. His academic abilities, his vast knowledge and his ability to communicate this information to his students clearly would all contribute to the student’s psychological stability and stimulate his creativity and perfection. The creative teacher can inspire his students and make them work efficiently without stress or fatigue. This belief is deep. Students will seek out innovative solutions if they feel that their teacher is creative and innovative. It is possible to create a mature dialog and communicate with the teacher.

The student may experience fear, but it is just one part of a state that he shares with his teacher. This state can be regardless of whether the student was allowed to specialize. Many students who perform below the required level have shown great creativity and innovation. You can see this in their varied ideas and implementation methods. This is because they gained knowledge that enabled them to overcome fear, worry, and confusion which can lead to inactivity and stagnation.

I had the privilege of supervising the graduation projects of 17 of my students. They all have different conceptual, informative, and technical styles. Through the years of my faculty study, I was able to closely examine their thinking processes and development. I was a good reader of their papers and projects. My goal was to instill self-confidence in each of them first. Then I tried to make them realize that making mistakes is not a crime. Although an idea may seem primitive at the beginning, it will develop and mature over time. When discussing their projects, I encouraged a collective discussion. I encouraged teamwork and to avoid judging or fearing each other until they realized the psychological comfort.

This was evident when the projects and graduation works were completed. Even those with low potentialities or poor performance, they all achieved success over themselves. We were amazed at their ability to learn from one another and to share experiences through teamwork. Although they had the same idea, their implementation methods were different. They were able to do this with great efficiency and maturity. With their deep knowledge, dubious work experience, self-confidence, and ability to work under stress and pressure, they all explored the labor markets without hesitation. It was therefore easy for them to take up their natural positions on the market.

This experience was a success because I had to transmigrate 17 characters. They all have different thoughts and it required me to be able to open a dialogue with them and break down the barriers of fear. To achieve a result that was consistent with my graphic design job concept, I had to work together with them with a lot of logic and temper.

Students, particularly those who don’t believe in themselves, were quick to say that they were “brought new” when it was time for a judgment. The students who followed their example were inspired. They were able to see that fear does not have the power to paralyze creativity and thinking.

How can you overcome this fear?

The designer must overcome fear to be creative and logical in his methods of building and implementing an idea. We discovered that there are some skills and principles that must be learned first to overcome this condition. What does a graphic designer actually need? What does a graphic designer need?


Experience is an essential part of creativity. The graphic designer must be as open to his environment as the athlete.

Without learning, a designer can’t gain the experience. Learning is essential for a person to retain information and improve his/her self-confidence. The designer would be more concerned about the future work if he/she didn’t learn. The designer feels disgraceful, ineffective, and incapable if he has stopped learning.

It takes courage to challenge standards and values. To be able to manage this situation well, the designer must have strong faith in himself. Sometimes, he may think that he doesn’t need to work on a theme that is not within his search theme or circle. This will allow him to follow the process of investigation, calculation, and search in all issues that he might be faced with. He must not shut down his mind, consciousness, or state of creativity. Instead, he should use his own experience and those of others to make a rational assessment.

A designer may be unable to submit to rationality, leading to a collapse of meanings and thoughts. This will also lead to a disregard for the sound use of intuition as a source to exploration. This fear can ultimately kill creativity.

– Self-awareness

Graphic designers can be deceitful by not understanding their actions and the results. They may also reject any recognition of other’s contributions due to their inability compete. A successful designer must be realistic. A successful designer must first understand the components of his own life. He should also respect others’ experiences. Avoid arrogance and self-deception and try to work with others in mutual benefit. The individual may be able to communicate what is within him and can overcome his fears by developing self-awareness. He will suffer from a lack of communication with himself and his work, uncertainty about his potentialities, fear criticism, and encounter with the audience.

He will find it difficult to think of new ideas if he gets to that point. This will result in him being influenced by his environment and resulting in immature and naive ideas. The designer must assert his rights and continue to learn skills to correct others. This will help determine the form of a case or work. The designer can use correction to improve his productivity and creativity.

A designer may be able to increase his self-awareness and have a deeper belief in his work. This will help him improve his image and vis avis.

What options does a graphic designer have?

Is fear the source of creativity?

Before he can overcome his artistic fears or concerns, the designer should always confront the dragon within him. He shouldn’t think about what he should do based on his inability or ability, but rather based on the message or piece of information he wants to convey to his audience using images and words that reflect his knowledge and experience.

The designer should write down his thoughts on paper and then use the pencil to draw some basic shapes. He should also examine his inner self and examine the lines. I am sure that he will find something there.. That will guide him on the right path. This is just one example of the many ways a graphic designer can reach his inner self and mind. This is a way of reaching a creative state. Designers should be able to look closely at the details and have the courage to do so. They should also try to assess things in a rational, objective, and absolute way.

How can we make decisions?

A person’s belief in spirituality is a factor that determines his decision.

We have the choice to live on Earth. Which school do we learn from?

The graphic designer has two options in relation to the above:

Either you face the extremes of the spectrum or

Be neutral.

These factors allow the designer to improve his ability to monitor, observe and follow-up and to gain the knowledge necessary to make the right decision. They also help him to control his courage, which is crucial for every decision he makes. These factors help the designer make the right choice/decision after acknowledging his concern, fears or state. They cannot, however, be taken together. Fear is linked to a specific objective. The designer can help overcome conflicting forces/forces such as fear, fear, and knowledge. This will allow him to see that God is always with him and will make him feel more spiritual. It is hard to accept neutrality, and it is even more difficult to reject, since facing rationality is a prerequisite that does not accept any neutrality.

Concern has no goals.. the graphic designer won’t have any results because there is nothing for him to focus on. Concern can lead to an absence of being and a state that is unbearable, devoid of identity, and even desertion.

A successful designer is one who can see the darkness and walk confidently in it. He must recognize that his creativity is what he sees, and what he leaves behind is what he makes.

The designer is limited to one option: Realize creativity through fear and concern about:

It is not creative.

The audience does not accept his work.

It is difficult to grasp the concept.

Insufficient research into the idea and the method of implementation.

He doesn’t know the correct technique.

Mature designers who are well-aware of the demands of their work should not be afraid. They can count on their experience, their search, and their techniques to help them overcome their confusion and boost their self-confidence.

Designers’ choices are only an extension of his experience during study, work, or both. Both require a specific mechanism that the academic and professional staff should employ to embrace the designer. This strategy must be able to overcome the fears of the designer in the training courses and improve his skills, competency, and culture. It should also allow him to become more self-reliant and better able to manage his professional life and confront new and unexpected innovations.
